Google's crawlers can find topics because they look for plaintext. They don't have to map a site based on the parts of the UI accessible to ordinary users.

By hidden, I meant removed. I mean its still hidden, but only mods can see it.

 

So I'm not entirely sure how google got info, unless they cached it while the topic was public
