I have the great ability to remember a part of a song then have it loop for hours. Did I say ability? I meant nuisance xD

That happens to me sometimes too.  Except it's usually only a few seconds of the song and it tends to be a song that I HATE.  ? lol

Today I bought 80GB of RAM

Isn't that a small fortune in down under dollars?  ?

It certainly would be a lot in USD to spend almost $800 on RAM.

I think your money is similar to Canada in that things cost more than they would in USD right?

What makes RAM "server RAM"?

The expense hike is primarily because of import.

Basically being certified to perform certain operations and not crash.

But basically it's just really, really, reliable.

The RAM is ECC Unbuffered, I wouldn't call that server RAM since it isn't registered, but it is for engineering workstations.

Yeah. I know my limits but testing my limits makes me motivated. As it turns out, working out is a good way to cope with my anxiety as I've discovered. Once I've started seeing the results especially in my abdominal area, the more I'm motivated to push harder.

Didn't actually cost much more compared with normal non-ecc unbuffered, Non-ecc RAM has really spiked a lot in price and ECC RAM is somehow dropping in price,  it was $120 per DIMM last time I bought 8GB ECC unbuffered DDR3.

21 minutes ago, Bleedingyamato said:

ECC (Error-correcting code) is memory that can calculate when something is corrupt in memory and then repair it.

21 minutes ago, Bleedingyamato said:

Registered ECC is more advanced than that, usually only used in servers.

The reason these computers got ECC was because they already have ECC and all the other engineering computers have ECC, so everything is keep into line and everything is nice. I don't think the engineering computers need ECC, but that what I was told to buy and it didn't actually cost more than normal unbuffered non-ecc
