New Racing wheel

Cabbage11

I need a new wheel for simulators but I don't want to spend a lot of money. I want to see if there are any other good options for simulators other than the Logitech g27.

I'm happily using an xbox 360 wheel connected to a cheap ebay knockoff chinese usb-xbox wireless adapter.

you should be able to grab old xbox 360 peripherals for cheap at pawn/gamestops thriftstores.

The older g27 (without the LEDs) I think is slightly nicer. Or maybe that's just because that's the model that is used in my Driver's ed.

So yeah, go with what you can afford (gently used or new) or what you feel would be better because yeah.

Too expensive tbh. And the pedals you get with it are crap.

Go for a used G27 or G25. You can find them for pretty good prices if you look a bit around. It's the best thing you can 'start' with if you don't have any gear yet and you don't want to spend too much.

I'm using a G25 myself and I play Assetto Corsa a lot. Might be upgrading to a T500rs though :)

Still, @Cabbage11 go for used G27 or used G25 and if that's still too expensive you should look into the Logitech DFGT. Best wheel you can get in its price range. Doesn't have superb pedals but the wheel itself is pretty darn good :)

Logitech Driving Force GT is great for the price. And works on the PS3!
