New Free Sync 1440p 144hz BenQ Vs Acer

kraxe_tk

I would assume the Acer XG270HU is not released yet at the time of this post.

Does any one know how the BenQ XL2730Z compares to the Acer XG270HU?  I know about the price, the stand, VESA wall mountable, and S switch.  They both seem to advertise anti flicker and blue light tech.  Is BenQ's motion blur reduction exclusive to BenQ?  Is it the same panel?

BenQ XL2730Z http://gaming.benq.com/gaming-monitor/xl2730z $630, wall mountable, ease of use, gamer design, cool stand

Acer XG270HU http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/model/UM.HG0AA.001 $500, thinner bezel/frame, $130 less

Awesome, that's a lot cheaper than I thought they would be. Would probably still be like $750 for Acer's where I live, though. Going to pick one up when I order the 390X.

I don't know if it fits your need but didn't Asus announce a 1440p 120hz (and they said they currently try to push it to 144hz) IPS Monitor for $599.

It's not labeled with Freesync but looks like it's supporting it http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/289489-amd-confirms-asus-mg279q-120hz-ips-monitor-supports-freesync/

it's time for some jolly cooperation!

the asus mg279q will cost 600$... it is confirmed; and its a 144hz 1440p, newIPS, freesync screen with TN response times, TN ghosting and will probably be strobable just like the acer xb270hu....

why would anyone buy these TNs when that is coming soon? i dunno

Because they like poor viewing angles, dull colour and weak contrast. :D JK
