Stellaris LM4F120 LaunchPad Evaluation Board

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has used this LaunchPad from TI for random hardware programming projects. I am looking into this to just mess around with and learn ARM on TI's stellaris platform. I have used before their MSP430's 5000 series. Was using this ARM launch pad a good learning tool and what applications did you use it for? Is programming an ARM MCU similar to programming a MSP430? Is it programmed in C? or C++?
