Can someone make one for the 980?

 

I liked my 970. It performed almost as good as the 980 I have now and it seemed to OC well for a Strix card.

The Power LED on my ASUS Strix 970 is a pain in the ASS! Looks like a freakin light house, worst part is, can't turn the damn thing off cause its a power LED. So YAY I plugged my 8-pin Power connector in properly, Congratulations for me! Now to be annoyed endlessly by this stupid little LED.

I've got my MSI 970! I love it. Best purchase I've ever made. For 1080p, this thing is my new wife.

Damn, yeah I heard the Strix was a nightmare because of its crappy power delivery too, I made a few bios's for @Darkman to make his card not so crappy but it still is a pain in the ass.

Power is fine, not planning on OCin' my card however that stupid LED is making me regret my choice.

Actually yes, I have a 970 Strix and the TDP limitation is godawful. Crysis 3 at stockclocks gets 116-118% TDP. It can BARELY do the boost.

Pascal Undervolting topic, get more out of your card with less power!

Why high refreshrate monitors look better even without Freesync/G-sync in one image.
Stutters, framedrops, "lag". How to provide detailed information with your "bottleneck" question, as well as a few solutions.

I ALMOST got a MSI GTX 970 but I ended up with a Gigabyte card, if they make a 970 HAWK/Lightning its going to completely wreck everything.

I heard they have a very quiet cooler.

I'm happy with my GTX970 G1. It lets me run a 30" screen and play singleplayer games at 2560x1600 without issue.

I probably have the best bang for buck 970, the windforce 3X 970 :D. Super quiet, overclock of 1455mhz and 7400mhz w/o adjusting voltage and it runs under 70*C.

That's...pretty weak. Even I managed 1530/8004 on that TDP limited strix..

Except for Crysis 3, there it throttled due to TDP exceeding.

 

might bump the TDP to 130% or something someday. Right now it's overkill for 1080p gaming anyway.

My 780 is almost a 970. I'm in.

sure why not. xD.

 

Alot more fun to overclock than a 970.

Im running gaming 24/7 1570mhz core and 8118 mem at 1.262v and im still finding my max at 1.275.
