Cheap mobo that will support LSI 9260-4i?

So this is going to be a bit of a strange question, but here goes: I currently have an LSI 9260-4i raid card with 4x3tb wd reds in my main x79 rig, but I'd like to migrate it to a new build that will function as a home server. I'm looking for a cheap mobo that will still support the raid card. I've heard of people having compatibility issues with this card and non-server chipsets, but I've also seen it used successfully with non-server chipsets. Sooooo what's the deal? Does it depend on the chipset? Does it depend on the specific board? I looked on LSI's site for a compatibility listing, but it's a pitifully short list.

More than anything though I'm looking for a cheep option. I don't really care about overclocking/ bios features/ number of sata ports or any of that. Just RAID card support.

Anyone that can shed some light on this issue or even suggest me a board would have my eternal gratitude :D
