i so want a cat after reading this thread

They are pure evil. When I walk down the stairs I have to make sure my cat is not sticking out his paw to trip me. Not to mention the random meows during the middle of the night. lol either way I love them.

 

Saw this on the interwebs. Corsair gives you a cat if you get a 860 AX or higher PSU. Corsair so good! Ha ha

I still miss my cats:-( Am not allowed to have pets where I live now, but I really miss them-

 

 

When I get a house at some point, I plan on getting a few black Maine Coons from a breeder I know well....They are magnificent creatures, and massive.

I enjoy their temperament. Especially from this breeder.

My cats are not nearly as cute as everyones here.

 

Cat 1: "My" cat. Spooky, got her on halloween when I was a kid. She's not very spooky. She is however, very fat, and has a big ol' pouch that swangs to and fro when she runs. She responds when I talk to her, waits for me outside the bathroom after I shower, and falls asleep on my bed daily. Here's some christmas fun:

 

Cat 2: "My parents" cat. Snaps. Had a sister named Ginger (11 year old me named them), ginger was whisked away by the forest people. Snaps hates aforementioned Spooky. They get along like two sisters who hate the ever-loving-sh*t out of eachother but I hope secretly like eachother (probably not). Snaps had cancer and lost a leg a year ago (pic is old), now she is a wheelbarrow cat, and goes in circles sometimes. Love em both.

 

 

Also, cats are 500x better than dogs. #shots

Where do you live in the world? I can guarantee that there are cats looking for good homes.

They are great stalking places. People always say its because of security but I doubt that. Its to hide so they can pounce of some unsuspecting victim.

How is snaps doing after the amputation?

 

Alright, lots of going in circles, it's actually kind of amazing how they use their tail to balance and compensate for the missing leg. She often does the whole "3 rights to make a left" thing. But she is pretty old at this point, almost 15, so unfortunately (and, I guess, understandably) my parents don't want to invest tons of $$$ we don't have into expensive procedures on an old cat. She's more their cat than mine.

Welcome! All cat lovers are welcome here. I'm sorry to here about Snaps cancer. I lost my cat Eddie to cancer. He was 7.

To smart for his own good. Comes when you call, fetches and even learned how to wake me up in the morning by stepping on a button on my alarm clock

lol your cat is the best. I have two American shorthairs. The kittens never bothered me for food but after a couple weeks they figured out my routine. Now when the alarm goes off its accompied by cat meows. One time my alarm went off early and the cat meows started. I lost 5 hours of sleep that day. I use to let them in my room but once alarm went off cats would try and sit on my face to wake me up. Now when I come home from work they're waiting. My cats play fetch too.

To be honest neither have I. Just some of the rare cat breeds like yours. My kittens love to play and when I use to let them in my room. I would wake up and toys would be on my bed. Even now when I open my door toys are at the door. My female cat Chloe is the culprit. I caught her in action with a toy in her mouth coming up the stairs. She dropped it at my feet then proceeded to meow and give me weird looks.

On Wikipedia it says that they are intelligent, which is an understatement. Ash is a genius. 

She can open doors, turn on/off faucets to get drink water, and turn off the light in the bathroom when she is done getting a drink. 

And because she is so smart, she can find the best ways to annoy the hell out of you.

It was a rescue cat, accidental. She is a pure Nebelung though.
