i5 3570k high cpu usage

ok i dont want to sound dumb but when i use google chrome my cpu usage jumps to around 15% then goes to 1-3%, and then when i go to a new page it jumps back up. is their some thing wrong?

SPECS

i5 3570k

MSI GTX 660ti

MSI Z77 MPOWER

8gb Corsair Vengance

Samsung 840 seriese 128gb

Corsair TX750m

stock heatsink

nope normal

screenshot of task manager while watching 1080p video on youtube + 5 tabs open in chrome and other negligable things like antivirus,coretemp,msi afterburner,etc.

the strange thing with me is that it happens when i have a single tab open and im going from like youtube to facebook
