What's Your VPS?

I figured I'd start a thread for people to post what they have for a Virtual Private Server (VPS). Post your Provider, Price, Specs, Location, Use and anything else.

If you don't know what a VPS is it is basically an Operating System (OS) that is running in parallel with others on a single physical computer or multiple computers linked together in a cluster. These parallel operating systems are secured from each other and appear to the end user/client the same as it would if you had that same OS simply running on a dedicated computer. The main advantages of a VPS over a dedicated server are scalability meaning more RAM, Cores, or Storage can be allocated to a given virtual machine at a moments notice. Also a VPS has ease of mobility meaning the server can be 'virtually' moved across the world if need be in a matter of a few minutes.

Tortoise Labs

1GB RAM - 60GB Storage - Unlimited bandwidth (1Gbps) - start with 1 ipv4/1 ipv6 and then request more - $15 normally/$13.50 with 10% coupon - Miami (Colohouse), Los Angeles (Enzu), Beauharnois, Quebec (OVH's BHS facility), London (Telehouse Docklands).

A friend and I got ours in Miami and are using it to host our Teamspeak server, seed torrents (legal ones ;)), VPN, and occasionally a small Minecraft server among other things.

Can be used for hosting websites, game servers, torrent servers, ftp, online or offsite backups, etc. There's hundreds of uses for a VPS.

I edited the first post to explain what a VPS is for anybody that does not know. I hope my explanation will be sufficient.
