Helping a friend with a gaming laptop, which one is better?

I know crap-all about laptops which is why I'm asking you guys. I see at PBtech the G551JM w/ 860M is $1800 while the G550JK 850M is $1935. What are the differences between them both that would justify the G550JK being more expensive? Am I right in assuming the G551JM is better for gaming due to the 860M, or is there more to it than that?

The Friend isn't interested in video editing or benchmarking, and CSGO is likely the most intensive game he'll be playing for a while.

I'm not sure why the better computer is cheaper, but it is. The G551JM is a better deal and better computer from what I can tell.

The 550JK is an older model.

the 551jm has a better GPU and he should also buy an ssd
