Ordered My O2 DAC/Amplifier Combo

I'm just saying the Monoprice Amp/DAC would of done the exactly the same thing, but at a much reduced cost.  I have both the 02/ODAC and Mono and can't tell the difference, at least with my ears.

 

Who cares, cow is out of the barn at this point.

The HD600 is a very nice headphone but I think the AKG K7xx just edges it out. They are extremely similar though so they actually might sound the same to you.

Oh yeah i forgot you tried both, how do they compare to one another?

Extremely similar like I said. The HD600 has a bit more mids but if you don't compare them side by side, they would sound the same. 

My personal rig - 4790k 4.8Ghz, Asus Z97 Pro (wi-fi ac), Corsair Dominator Plat 4x8GB, SLI GTX 1080 TI FE, Samsung 850 Evo 1TB, Crucial MX100 512GB, EVGA G3 1000W, and cooled by a hardline liquid cooling loop.

Huh i wonder how it would differ with K712, have you tried K7xx or HD600 @Lays?

Nop, but k712 has a few extra DB of bass compared to the k7xx I believe.

Yea, I'm 99% sure my Odac/o2 would sound the same to me as some cheapo solution but it's le Objective so I had to buy one.

 

Since Slick says we are a buncha meanies, we are a buncha meanies. Although, if Slick had to stay in the audio sub I bet his head would explode too.

If the audio sub is sooo meean, then why is it 3/10 of the hardware subs by post count? Shouldn't it be a deserted ghost town since we've scared everyone off with our meanness?

650 is supposed to have a bit less treble.

600 is more neutral, 650 is darker (less highs, more bass)

It's too much variable to answer that, with a big probability of a miss. It's like asking, 'coming from a hamburger stand, which one is the better choice, mcdonalds or burger king?'

 

Best is to try before buy, or order from a place that got good return/replace policy.

Hard to say. Most people including me seem to like the 600 more.
