Stylus peripheral for desktop PC?

Is there something that I could buy that I could hookup to my PC, most likely through usb, that would act as like a pen and paper, its like a mouse pad or something that I draw on with a stylus, so I can draw using my PC?

I can help with programming and hardware.

Look at the Wacom stuff (Like their Bamboo and Intuos tablets).

I have one for a few days and I'm liking it so far

Wacom tablets and pads for sure. There are some inexpensive ones that work quite well and they have really good support for them too. :)
