Linus, please review the grandpa of mechanical keyboards:

image.png.9fdbcb511a7e34a1da27cbf46e7b75c4.png

The IBM Model M.

How well do they do in 2017? How do they compare to modern mechanicals?

Having used a keyboard without a windows key, not a problem.

You could also review the modern replicas:

Unicomp also sells USB versions. Please do it Linus, they are very loud and clicky.

Samsungs new CHG70 monitor claims 1ms response time and probably has better colors and brightness thant the old TN panels. Is the TN finally dead? LTT!

@LinusTech Because there have been big claims by some tech reviewers that the iPhone 8 Plus telephoto camera is not only better than the 7+ but also almost as good as a dSLR when it comes to bokeh and portrait shots, why not have Brandon do a photoshoot of employees by comparing a $1000 dSLR to the iPhone 8 Plus.

Using DNA to store your PGP private key? There's a company that does this...

It'd make a nice sponsored video

Think at last Computex there were cases/boxes with systems that were cascade cooled.  And you could manually change the tempature. Think it was not really ready for the market yet. But would love to see a review about that.

could you do a video on a budget NAS build and the whole setup behind it?

less focused on the building but more on hardware selection and why you choose it and also maybe trying multiple NAS OS´s to give a recommendation which one is good for which scenario.

The overkill storage and networking stuff you do is fun but nothing a normal person could afford or need.

Next time you do an Ultrabook round up give one of the VAIO range a try. Very few in depth YouTube reviews on their products since the VAIO brand was partially broken away from Sony. Not to mention the full range is only available in Japan with only some models sold in the US so they tick the 'obscure' box for high end ultrabooks.

Desktop: Intel Core i7-6700k, ASUS Z170-PRO, Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 64GB DDR4 (3200 MHz), ASUS 1070 DUAL OC, Corsair Spec-Alpha, SanDisk Ultra II SSD (960GB), Corsair CX Series CX750M, LG 34UM88C-P, Corsair H100i v2, Corsair K55 RGB, Windows 10 Education

Desktop 2: Intel Core i7-4790k, Lenovo Sharkbay, Kingston HyperX Fury 24GB DDR3 (2133MHz), Gigabyte 1650 OC Low Profile, Lenovo M93 SFF, SanDisk Ultra II SSD (960GB), Silverstone TX700

Laptop: Sony VAIO VPCEH1L8E, Intel Core i7-2720QM, Sony MBX-247 DA0HK1MB6E0 (REV:E), Kingston Hyper X 16GB DDR3L (2133 MHz), Western Digital Blue SSD (500GB), Panasonic E233037 (CPU Fan), Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260, Windows 10 Home

Other Laptop: HP G7010EA, Intel Core 2 Duo T9300, Crucial 5GB (4+1) DDR2 (667MHz), Samsung 960 Evo SATA SSD (500GB), Windows 10 Home

Relevant to your recent water cooling vs air cooling video, I have an idea for the next step up from that:

The same thing, but in an exceptionally warm room.  For example, I'm sitting in a boiling hot 28C room right now and my air conditioner is just shitting the bed...and yet my i7 6700K is also sitting at a comfortable 28C with my Noctua NH-U9S on it.

So I'm hoping to answer the question of which type of cooling is better in an extreme situation?  Does water perhaps do a better job when the air in the room is already very warm?
