Home made case + Server build! "Blue Lightning"

I am going to build a server, with UnknownLobster's BlackDwarf, in min, but with M-ITX, M-ATX compatibi andATX PSU, and a different design.

I have a low budget, so its's gonna be a struggle, but I am going to do it!
What i dont have:
More Seagate Barracuda 2TB drives
Passive or silent cooler

What i have:
Metal
Spraypaint
CPU: Intel i3 2120
MB: Asrock H61
OS (Server 2012)
PSU: NZXT Hale90 750W
Raidcard: Intel

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-P55-UD5

RAM: 4GB

PSU Corsair CX600

2x 3 Drive 5.25" Hotswap Cages

 

Storage:

SSD: Intel 520 240GB

HDD1: Seagate 2TB (7200RPM)

HDD2: Seagate 2TB (7200RPM)

HDD3: Seagate 2TB (7200RPM)
HDD4: WD AV-GP 3TB
HDD5: WD AV-GP 3TB
HDD6: WD AV-GP 3TB

The side panels, the top and the front is going to be made from scratch, and the rest modified!
The top is going to be Lexan and Aluminum

Putting it on wheels though, that's a first! Are you going to be moving it around a lot?

Both yes, and no :P I am going to be moving it around a bit, but not very much! The reason for putting it on wheels, are that i am probably going to slide it under a desk, or something like that ;)

Beacause then you are getting a new CPU and the rest of the equipment you need to watercool you keyboard? :P 

But on topic: I am thinking of going for the passive choice, because it is less likely to fail :)

Well actually, I still have a pentium 4 running, but i dont use that PC very often :P

I am going to start building the case soon, any more inputs?

 

Which OS do you recommed? I was thinking Windows Server 2012, because I can get it for free...

I am also going to test everything in a Fractal Design R4 I have laying around, do you want pics of that, or only of the construction?

BTW: I am going to use 2x 250GB 2.5" in Raid-1 for OS, and At least 5 Seagate 2TB for storage in Raid-5 (The price is the limit :()

i love UnknownLobster! i've been following him since the very begining, his youtube channel has crazy stuff! he's a really good "builder" he built his entire place!

I would suggest Server 2012
