Damn, you had a leak? Lol what happened?

I was too cheap to buy compression fittings, and the tube going from my cpu block to the reservoir came out drenching my gpu's and case. Luckily I used non conductive liquid and the system was not actually on

Here's my setup it's my first build and I think it went pretty well.

i7 5820k and dual 980s

post-108155-0-41936000-1416947408_thumb.

I just built it last night so its about 17 hours into the leak test atm but so far so good. I gotta say though that the acrylic tubing was a super fun challenge and I think it looks way better then saggy flex tubing. Now I only need some LEDs to make it really pop.

I am the one who goes bump in the night... usually making a sandwich.

Case: Phanteks Enthoo Primo White - Motherboard: ASUS X99 Deluxe - CPU: Intel i7 5820k - RAM: 4x4GB Corsair Vengeance 2666mhz ddr4 - GPU: Dual EVGA gtx 980 SSC - PSU: EVGA G2 Supernova 750w - Cooler: Custom PETG Loop on cpu and gpus - Storage: 500gb Samsung 850 evo ssd, 2x Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm 3tb hdd

Ahh that's the Primo? It's very nice, I slightly regret not getting it, but I wanted something not quite like a 900d lol. I have the Luxe coming in the mail today which I think we be just fine just the available PSU room on the floor is so nice in your case!

I have to ask you how you are doing your leak test. I know it's at least 6 hours but even up to 24, how do you do this? Like do you just find a day where your not doing jack shit and be by it all day? Lol cause I think I'm gonna have a hard time doing that. Is it ok to do it in chunks?

Also I have to ask how you like that EK res? I'm looking for one atm :)

I almost went with the 900d at one point but I really like the accent on the right of the case it makes it a little less boxy without looking like a spaceship like so many cases do.

My leak test is pretty straight forward I unplugged everything but the pump and put paper towel in everywhere I could near the fittings and just let it run (the paper towel should catch any drips and be easier to see). I watched it for the first few hours then checked again before bed and now I'm just checking every hour or two for a full 24 hours.

The res is nice I took the top right off for filling because my funnel wouldn't fit in the threaded holes and i couldn't tighten the mounts to the res itself because of the way it mounts in the case I can't get to the screws but it's tight enough and has rigid tubing holding it in so I'm not worried.

Also I'm running white tubing with distilled water and a kill coil so even if it leaks I should be ok.

I am the one who goes bump in the night... usually making a sandwich.
