Age isn’t really all important in hobbies. Many kids could easily out do many of the people here, but can’t pay for a pc themselves. Also, I pretty much just render some stuff for fun with my cpu and play csgo with my 560 ti. As for ocing my ideology is to copy the OC’s most people get and see if they are stable and tweak in small increments from there if I have to go higher or lower on frequency and voltages.

Iv'e been looking for excact numbers alot of places, but every place i've been it's all about " you need to find the right figures for your card" i'm not going to max my GPU and CPU, but i would love a stable overclock that gives me a  little extra :)

and to mention, due to CPU's lack of threads when streaming overwatch i've upgraded to a 8700K meanwile :)

I was worried about the mayhems pastel white bc of Jayztwocents, but I actually do enjoy the look a lot. Wish I could’ve bought the new primochill vue, but the mayhems was significantly cheaper at 13 bucks.

GPU and CPU, in that order. In a Rosewill Collinan case.. It has tempered glass on 3 sides, I did not include a pic with it on though I see.. I have the 2.66 cpu overclocked to 4 gig and the mem is running at 2000. I have the titan overclocked 120 to run at 1201 and the mem I have running 600 over in test and 400 for everyday use.

The gpu will climb to about 45 while under load and the cpu just sits around 45-50 all the time whether at idle or under load.

Gave it a flush last night and swapped out the cpu with an x5690. I have it running at 4.6 and the mem at 2000. Getting pretty good scores with it. 1071 in cinebench. Got Firestrike up to a new high.. 11287 It still does ok for being a bit long in the tooth.. I am going to wait until prices stabilize until I finish the new build I am putting together so it's nice that it's able to hold up a bit longer.

I actually enjoyed cleaning it it up and servicing it. It was relaxing compared to the stressed out week I had..

Yeah, doing it without all the fittings can be a bit frustrating, but I like the look so much better. I think they should only be used were you have no other choice.. But that's just me. The runs just look so much better without all the added fittings and I think it takes away from the look of the fluid half the time.

 

Like with Singularity, He is all about fittings.. I think that is more of a time saving thing with him though. It's like a car with to much chrome on it.. It makes a lot of builds just look to busy, cluttered as it were..

1.4 volts. And yeah, everyday setting For water cooling.. I did a bit of reading up on them and 1.41 seems to be about the max you want to go on water and was shown to be stable for 3 years for the guy so I used it as my max when trying for the highest stable clocks on it.

I'm sure there are a few here that could school me on it though, and I would welcome it.. I would love to know just how far you can take an x5690.
