Microsoft released build 9926 which contains a lot but not all of the new features talked during the consumer event, including cortana, universal apps and continuum for 2in1 devices, the isos can be downloaded here after signing up on the insider program 

https://insider.windows.com/, those already running the techincal preview can download the new build via windows update, just check within pc settings, its required that update KB 3025380 is instaled before updating, also the current build is missing the project spartan browser and the xbox to pc streaming feature those should become availible in future build updates

Hi guys so today is Windows 10 briefing and it's live, so I will be covering and updating the topic until the event is over, look down to see how to watch

Windows 10 is running on tablets -Dell Venue 11 pro- the photo was taken from outside the demo room that is closed.

Statics and promises from Terry Myerson  

He is promising great security for enterprise, windows 10 will be on phablets, phones, tablet, laptops, etc..., there are 1.7M insiders, 800K feed-backs on 200K topics, promising to help devs and make them find their customers -maybe better store ??-

Terry Myerson is talking about mobility, saying you should pickup from where you left on any device , better privacy, we care about customer, you should be able to print with a flick, transfer skype call with a natural move,

Upgrade to win 10 for 8.1/7/windows phone 8.1 for a Whole year for free, for the first year then you will have to buy windows 10.

Cortana

Cortana is coming to PC -it's very awesome-, she learns from the internet, she is based from bing, you can speak to it like a normal person and it's very awesome, ask what is she been doing, Cortana lives in the cloud, you can ask her if you need to wear a coat tomorrow instead of asking her what is the weather like tomorrow, she is made for you, you can manage all your information that Cortana knows about you, you can mange your information from the Cortana notebook.

   

Continuum

  

When you remove your tablet/laptop from dock -mouse and keyboard- you get a pop-up that asks you to switch to tablet mode, the experience is seamless from the demo, it transforms very elegantly form mode to another, navigate between apps using touch gestures, use it as a tablet when you remove it from the dock and like a regular laptop when you bring it back 

Windows for devices smaller than 8-inch

      

The Action center is synced with your PC, dismiss a notification on mobile and it dismiss on PC, settings has changed and it looks better, text appear from above when you receive it and you can reply, keyboards moves around it floats, text to voice seems great -don't get your hopes up-, you can switch between skype, SMS, etc... easily. 

Apps

They are updating a lot of apps,  Outlook mail client is updated and it's universal, word engine is also integrated , swipe left for delete and swap right to flag

Project spartan aka better IE

 

It's a new browser that has a  new rendering engine under the covers, looks like the leaks, it will have new features that maybe be useful and good, you can note all over the webpage and then share the notes, add a comment anywhere on the page, comment with a pen,keyboard,touch,etc.... *evil laugh* you can also clip the webpage and save to Onenote, there is a reading mode that makes the webpage look like a book, it syncs across your devices  but this features isn't new to other browsers, Cortana is integrated to Spartan

Gaming much gaming

 

Now Phil Spencer is saying that gaming is a very personal experience and how invested we are in it, talking about xbone social network, now to PC PC PC gaming, he said: "We've identified several ways to make PC gaming even more incredible than it is today.", gaming on win 10 will be more social and more interactive, xbone app will be on all win 10 devices -not interesting going to skip it- now to saving/making gameplay, he showed demo of Beyond Earth from steam, when in-game you can click windows+G to launches a UI/pop-up to enable you to save -someone help I'm losing it-, DX12 is supported by Unity, there making DX12 low level API and 50% increase in performance for games -maybe on 1 game-, apperently power consumption has been cut in half, so more gaming on mobile devices -yay- fable legends is coming to win10 and xbone and it supports cross-platform play, now you can stream any xbone game on any win10 device -awesome- now demo of forza 2 -very good and it loaded quickly- now it looks like you must own a xbone to do the things I said just like steam in-home streaming, xbone is getting win10.

New build for insiders -including me yay!!!!!!!!!-

New surface ??????? 

 

 84-inch display, pen input, dual cameras, it's a device for a group to help brain storing and groupy things -maybe LMG needs one ??- it's a win 10 device and it's like a whiteboard, you can have conference calls and use the whiteboard at the same time -mind blown- apperently it takes about 12 minutes to start a conference -so much time so much lost much wow-  you can project content from any device to the surface hub, you can use a PEN -don't know anything- all the conference things are enabled by?? you guessed it skype.

Hologram ????????? Holographic -Y WOT M8 ???-

 

Windows Holographic is freaking real, there is a headset that makes you see your workplace as something different, see apps, games, everything from this headset, skype can be projected on a wall - mind freaking blown away-, holograms can be made for arctics and amazing shit that I can't process, this is the freakin future holograms everywhere, the are olographic APIs are enabled in all Windows 10 builds, there are inviting Oculus, Motion Leap, and others to create Holograms.

Freaking headset that has holograms thigns

 

The headset name is Microsoft HoloLens and it makes holograms in your environment and it work with windows holographic, it's an untethered holographic computer, has built-in high-end CPU and GPU, Spatial sound to hear holograms behind you and everywhere , HoloLens has see-through holographic lenses and a third processor named a holographic processing unit, let me repeat no wires, no phone required, no connection to a PC needed,

Holo Studio

 

It has a similar UI to win 10 to create Holograms, you need to use gestures, you can use voice commands, there are tools to change color and do things with touch -amazing-, you are working with 3D content, the holographs work like real-objects, the level on interactions with the content is amazing, apparently they are like a 3D print preview, you can 3D print the content you made in Holo Studio -maybe-, the quad copter that was created in Holo Studio was printed.
