Go to solution Solved by zappian,

I would spend that money to get a new cpu and motherboard,

You have an old pentium dual core gpu , thats not good at all sorry.

Hello I recently got a new computer and I am thinking of getting a new 144hz monitor and right now I got a Philips 27" LED 273E3LHSB. My computer contains a Pentium Dual Core E5800 3.2GHz, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, Windows 7 pro 64bit and a Msi GTX 750ti. I have been thinking of getting a AOC g2770Pqu or Asus VG248QE. I don't even know if my computer can drive both monitors and what 144hz monitor is best (that is lower than 345usd) thank you for help.  :)

Your GPU cannot even come close to properly driving 144Hz unless the games are extremely light games

This is why you should not get an FX CPU for ANY scenario other than rendering on a budget http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/286142-fx-8350-r9-290-psu-requirements/?p=3892901 http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/266481-an-issue-with-people-bashing-the-fx-cpus/?p=3620861
