Chrome. I hate having tabs open, so If I see something that I want to see in the future, I'll bookmark it and close the tab. I'll have MAXIMUM 5 tabs open on a standard day.

Firefox 20.0.1. I can't really stand using Chrome, IE or Safari etc. Besides, I like my Firefox customizations. :)

Well here I go:

Open browsers:

-Mozilla Firefox

-Google Chrome

-Internet explorer (not always)

Firefox and chrome are mainly to seperate my google accounts (personal and one for my school mail) these two are always open.

Explorer is usually for research work for school assignments (can get pretty messy with tabs sometimes and this way they don't interfere with my regular tabs) and to log in to some school applications that only work with explorer.

Open tabs:

Firefox: 15 tabs on average

Chrome: 8 tabs on average

Explorer: depends on the work I'm doing but when I'm doing some research I would guess 20 tabs.

If you people are interrested in wich websites I have open let me know I can add them to my post.

I only use chrome, I can't stand having too many tabs open so it's pretty much 2-3 at a time for me, and maybe 6 maximum, if I REALLY need the tabs.

One Firefox window, 4 tabs.

How do you end up with tens or hundreds of tabs open as a typical thing? I'm guessing you're either just not closing them when you're done, or you want to save them for later, in which case I find bookmarks work pretty well for that.

On firefox, I had about 75 tabs open (in different tab groups). Basically I must have some sort of hording disorder, but I horde web pages in case I want to use them later.

Then my session was wiped by a program, so I'm back to 17 apparently.

I cba to bookmark stuff even though it lets you just start typing and it will prioritize bookmarks, because I think I'll use the page really soon (but never do).

Well I go multiple times a day through all the tabs I have open. Why would i open and close them each time?
