GTA V delayed(24th March)! Official specs too.

That was getting clearer the last couple of days after many people openly asked RS if GTA V will be released on the 27th this month and they didn't want to answer this apropriatly. Not surprising at all.

 

I don't really care about GTA V but personally I find it better when a developer is honest enough to admit that there's stuff to be done, and not just releases an open BETA with patch after patch... we've seen too many of those games the last 2 years... most of them so called AAA titles.

If it doesnt come downloadable online than the better for me personally since my 16mb connection woud be downloading it over 12 hours (fuck that). Ill buy DVD!

That if he has a stable connection, probably his family is going to use the Internet at the same time and he will be doing things not just downloading, so a week is very accurate.

I don't always buy games but when I do I do it with a passion. GTA V will be the 2nd game in my life that I'll pay for. I don't care how long it takes! I just don't want to get a shitty unoptimized game like GTA IV.

 

I'll get a 780 TI for it. It'll be able to handle it.

I wonder how this affects their scheduling for other games they are surely developing. Also, I hope GTA V doesn't fuck up the sales of other good games that come out during the same time period.

At least the 'requirements' aren't bloated, they do seem lower than I expected. I do not know ho well it will be optimized but it at least seems that it is likely to let you turn down the details, so more people can play.

a week is a HUGE overestimate...

 

if you start downloading at night it can easily get 33% finished before his speed drops.

then if its a weekday and everyone is at work it can get another 33% done

by the next morning it would be finished

 

this is one day and a half, approx 36 hours which is more than 29 BUT LESS THAN 168
