What RPM do I have?

Recommended Posts

Hello.

How can i find out how fast my current HDD is?

Thank you for replying.

If you can find out the make and model of your HDD you should be able to find the specs of it that should list the RPM. ;)

Commonly if you have 3.5" HDD, its 7200 RPM most.

If it is 2.5", it'll be 5400 RPM..

Sometime it changes.

Also check with the model number on the HDD label, It'll tell you the story.

Just buy a cheap SSD and have that HDD as your storage drive. ;)

You'll wanna install the OS and applications on the SSD for fast boot and load times. :)
