Yes it is still present. Multiplayer still works without a problem.

Got a G27 for xmas and have a lack of racing/rally games and i'm wondering if DiRT3 still has GFWL incorporated into it?

 

GFWL = Games For Windows Live

 

(GFWL is required for saving in these games)

Yeah, it's official name is Wreckfest.  On the picture on steam it says "Bugbear's Next Car Game: WRECKFEST"
