What it's used for:

This is used daily for gaming, multitasking, photo editing, and even streaming!

I try to stream even though my internet isn't the greatest, eh 480p livestreams are ok if it is smooth.

Doesn't it seem a little overkill?

Why of course, it was originally going to be running an i5 4690 but the Xeon was only about $10 more at time of purchasing parts.

Specs:

CPU- Intel Xeon E3-1230 v3

CPU Cooler- Noctua NH-U12P SE2

Motherboard- Asus H97M-PLUS

SSD- Plextor M6S 128GB

HDD- Seagate Barracuda 1TB

GPU- Asus Radeon HD7770 2GB Update 5, More Bad News. This Time it Isn't the Parts Fault

FINAL UPDATE!!! (I Believe :P)

Ah yes, the pictures. :)

Yes, those are other parts for my brother, not doing a build log on his rig though.

Oh, these Hyperboreas. @TheSLSAMG's opinion made me decide.. Plus they're really cheap!

Building Time!

Had to rip this unknown fan controller for all these fans due to having 4 case fans! My motherboard only has 2 fan headers and 1 for my CPU fan.

Final Result

Now I didn't photos (or at least I can find) of the components being installed into the S340, but I do have some nice final results. Yes some things could have a little better cable management, but I'm pleased with it.

Problems Encountered

1. As I was laying it on it's side once I had my HDD in but for some reason it wasn't secured.. It fell and hit the table with only like a 4in drop... Thank god I had a SATA cable plugged in to save it. That is also why one SATA cable is orange..

How do you like my computer? I personally love it, just to let you know, I have one more update before this log is complete. It just hasn't arrived yet. :) Go ahead guess, I'm not going to tell you what it is but know for sure someone will get it right. :D

yay s340 build. I forget how shiny it is since I only had mine for less than 24hours before taking it to get its paint job

Great job

I have to contact them since my right side panel came with a scratch.. How? I have no clue..

Also I ran F@H, I don't hear a jet engine taking off now and trying to sleep through it. Then again, my old PSU was VERY loud...

Pretty sure he meant that it's still ATX, not like I'm running a ITX board in a ATX case.
