I would change my 3570k out for it and finally do some gaming and streaming at the same time :D

My 8350 just isn't cutting it. Have wanted to switch to Intel for a while now, but having to spend money on a high end CPU and having to replace my already decent motherboard has been keeping me from doing so. Getting a free CPU would definitely lessen the blow :)

Hi!

 

Since my sis is into video and sound editing for short movies (and coincidentally she's looking to buy new computer), and I like to build computers I'd probably start researching what components are best suited for what she needs and build one for her as belated Christmas gift.

My real reason:

I will use it to re-code my stash of porn. Into smaller files and upload it to the internetz.

 

For a normal version:

I will use it to recode my stash of videos that I collected meticulously through the years. These videos are extraordinary! They give hope and life to other people. So I really hope I could get it.

I would use this to begin building a system for my brother as he's in dire need of an upgrade as his only computer (laptop) randomly crashes due to issues with the battery, power management and software problems.

I'm an indie dev living in Israel where PC components(And every other things include shiping) cost way too much and it's so hard to make awesome games with my current rig..

 

This 5820K will help me a lot!

Oh man... That's a GREAT giveaway!!! Thanks LMG and Intel!  Really, thanks for showing some love internationally :P
I would love to upgrade my system with a 6 core, but specially i want to change the chipset. Fortunatelly coding it's not demanding but i want to use some VM, so that extra RAM & CPU cores will help a TON. 

Even if i don't win, 2 lucky guys will get this sweet present. For you , LMG, it's just another giveaway, but for the winners it's extremely helpful. (specially if they need a good CPU)
