BenQ XL2420G G Sync Monitor

Was going to sleep, but then came a video

Thanks nic

Watched the video, good one, but the product is not relavant to me.

Even though im a amd rig, i would look more the the rog swift 2 if it comes because i would like lots of fps in games like csgo and bf4 but would still like to enjoy the resolution for other games.

But that leads me to another point, i dont know if there ever will be a perfect monitor for me, i want ips colors and viewing angles, but want tn quickness, and amoled power usage, ect. So i dont know if there ever will be the perfect monitor for me, but i think that a 1440p gsync ips monitor would be my go to, or even 4k (when i get rig upgrades, when i get a gtx 1070ti x3 or r12 495 i will likely get a monitor to go with it.

Typed all this on my ipod so srry for errors

Haven't there been like 5 different XL2420 monitors now? I think it's time for a name change...

Thanks for the video though Nick

HHGre.gg/lg-linus does not appear to work.

Edit: Nevermind. It is case sensitive?

Thanks Nick!

I think we all think that the ROG Swift is superior though.

Sig under construction.

I don't quite understand why have g-sync on a 144 Hz monitor.

When the intervals between refreshes are that short a frame is displayed very close to when it's done being rendered anyway. Especially if we're talking e-sports titles, which typically can be easily run at very high frame rates at 1080p.

Yep shortened links are always case sensitive (as far as I know at least).

I can't wait for variable refresh tech to become affordable. I think it's super neat, I'm just not willing to drop a few hundred extra bucks on it.

It's hard to convince this over the XL2420Z with only half the price and minus G-Sync, unless you are some diehard nvidia fanboy

I'm seriously considering to click the buy button right now.

All I wanted was a 24" 1080p-ish G-Sync Monitor with good horizontal viewing angles to accompany my Eizo CX240 which does not look like garbage and/or set me back another 800€.

Well thanks to BenQ I got exactly what I wanted for only 369€ (at the time of writing this post). Now that's a nice Christmas present.

Now I only need to find the money for it

hmm

here, this monitor is half the price of ROG swift, so i don't see the price to be too high on BenQ, 370€ compared to 740€

heck, it's the cheapest G-Sync monitor we can buy will be able to buy here

Why wont you try another gaming monitor with higher refresh rate? let's say 240Hz and tell us what you think.

[...) hint: EIZO FORIS FG2421 :3

Unfortunaly that one only has an 120 Hz input that gets upscaled to 240 Hz, so no gain here.

In fact I'm not even sure if 240 Hz is even a thing on digital interfaces, but someone correct me if I'm wrong.
