Hello guys,

I'm having a hard time choosing a 4k monitor. Could you link me the best 4k monitor with g-sync or none. I'm not even sure either if I need a g-sync one. They cost about $200-400 more. I also wanna know if I need that G-sync for my rig or if its better to have one even if I don't.

heres my rig:

Asus Rampage IV Black Edition EATX DDR3 2133 Intel LGA 2011 Motherboard

Intel Core i7-4930k Processor

Gigabyte GTX 980 G1 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5

Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB 2x8GB DDR 3 2400Mhz

Samsung 840 Pro 512GB 6Gbps SSD

Corsair Professional Series AX 1200 Watt ATX/EPS Modular 80 PLUS platinum

I am really enjoying the Samsung U28D590D 28" 4k monitor I picked up on sale on Friday ($428 CAD before taxes from Memory Express). Haven't used any others/G-Sync to compare however.

I'm also really surprised at how well my 2GB GTX 760 SLI is working. Playable frames (30-35+) in everything I've tried so far on games with max settings/no AA/at 4k. Need to test with some other games however.

Only downside is that I notice some back-light bleed through on the bottom of the monitor during dark scenes.

Never say it's not broken. Everything is broken. Why? Because everything needs MOAR POWA!
