1600Mhz cl9 OR 1866Mhz cl10?

Is there any difference between 2 kits 2x8gb running at either 1600 cl9 or 1866 cl10? Which one would have more overclocking headroom? I found a 1866 cl10 dominator platinum for 5€ less than the 1600. I mostly game and do some video encoding some times. Which one should i go for?

Would a 1866 cl9 be worth it? (15€ more expensive that the cl10 kit)

Why do i always get blue screens? Why not a red one for a change?

If its only 20 pounds more I would get it. But dont get dominator platinums.

You won't really see any performance differences between memory.  Just get the cheapest one, you won't know the difference.

 

^This, just get the cheapest and/or best looking RAM for your build.

Over priced. They are nothing special other than looks and they charge you A LOT for those looks.

1600Mhz is enough for all systems except FM1/2 where memory bandwitch limits your video performance.
