what cheap usefull thing should all pc enthusiasts have?

rainbrodash666

like the title says what thing do you think all people should have available to use?

My addition would be this IDE / SATA to usb adapter that I bought for $15 I think, it came with a power supply with a single molex plug and molex / sata adapter and a sata cableI use this a couple times a week and it has IDE sata and laptop ide. it works with HDD's and dvd/cd drives, I used it to reinstall windows on a laptop with a broken dvd drive.

oh and an anti static wrist band, I have never had a problem with static but my friend fried my 9800gtx with static once so I am careful ever since then. luckily xfx was awesome and rma'd it and even paid for the return shipping.

For myself, A tool kit! Screw drives, including torx and other weird bits, pliers, soldering iron, knife. A lot of that stuff is more tech enthusiast and electronic related than specifically pc, but its still useful to have!

a hammer.

I just use a multitool as a substitute for that! Much easier to carry, and I'm sure people would look at you strangely if you walked around with a hammer!

I've found  a LED flashlight to be a great aid. Mine is powered by a single AA cell and illuminates dark corners in a pc case well. :D

A paperclip does the same.

And there's my point: paperclip! Use it to extract power connectors, jump start your PSU. You could even install a fan with those if you're aiming for ghetto pure!

Business cards of a computer tech (not yourself)....just for when your family says "can you fix.." "how do I..."

In all serious though, an usb to bluetooth is my favorite

I think most girlfriends are pretty useless when it comes to PC enthusiast stuff.

But not for pc enthusiasts. Although, some are not cheap from my experience
