Is HP stream 13 great for playing Minecraft?

My kid wants a laptop for playing Minecraft and learning Python for kids. Is a HP stream 13 the most afforable -best option? Thanks! cM

It won't run well at all. Won't run at a playable framerate by any means. I don't hae any suggestions, but just buying that will not result in a happy time.

Great? No, but it will do fine at the lowest settings with no mods.

Not really, I think people seem to underestimate how difficult Minecraft is to run.

It will barely run minecraft to be honest, for coding, web browsing etc it will be fine

Skip to 7:17 - stuttery as hell, and I imagine running mods and shaders it will be slideshow city

no! minecraft runs like sh*t on any machine, I get 70-90fps in BF3 Ultra and get 45-60FPS in Minecraft

I've never even heard of the HP Stream.

Itll run at horiffic framerates. I have a hp laptop, with intel pentium dual core and it cannot run minecraft at low settings and constant 30fps.

Maybe you could build a PC for your kid
