Do you have a Micro Center near you? They have great deals on CPU and motherboard combos. Also, if you buy one of those combos, you get like 10 bucks off some as well as 10 off an ssd. I know you don't really want an ssd but if you bought it then, you would save 10 bucks.

Is the 980 worth it? I feel like it is just like the 780ti when it first came out. Sure it's better than the 970 but $200 better?

imo its worth the money but some may disagree
