Got bored and ran a bunch of games at 1440p on my 7950 with VSR. Wish I had 4K like I do on my 480, but whatever. Everything I ran did well and it was fun.

SC Alpha 2.1 hit the PTU recently, and with it came some new toys!

For some reason im not getting snow like everyone else >.<

Everyone else has a big white blanket on pretty much all ground surfaces but im only getting the snowfall animation and white spray from people cars :( anyone else having this issue?

Using a more realistic lighting preset for sweetfx/reshade along with the darker nights mod adds a lot of atmosphere to the witcher 3, night time/caves without a cat potion are almost pitch black, and being able to see the lights of a city in the distance is quite something.

Just how dark it is might be offputting to some folks, but I like it, night time was way too bright in w3 (mainly for gameplay reasons I'd guess, it's not exactly a bright/happy game in terms of tone and setting).

I've moved on to the more classic smuggler style^^ But it was neat while it lasted

If i remember correctly i play on the tomb of freedom nadd

Man this game is beautful, and wow... GTX 580 can really push some impressive visuals!

 

33-50FPS at 4K maxed with no AA.

You know, for as old as GTA IV is, it looks really good when you start to crank things up. Maxed it at 1440p and I LOVE the dynamic shadows at night lel Unless someone wants more pics, I'm just going to continue running it at 720p with Xbox 360-quality settings just so it tries to stay above 30FPS.
