Well, decided to play STALKER in Ubuntu. All I had to do to get it to work was install Wine 1.7 and then carry over my install folder from Windows and launch the EXE. Fullscreen works but I have to mess with it to get it to adjust right. Other than that, no sound or graphic issues, and it seemed to going at least 30FPS. I can't get the damn wine command to display FPS to work but as soon as I figure something out, I'll get that up. Anyways, first screenshot:

Once I get it in fullscreen, I'll figure out how to take snappies and show FPS. And then try some mods.

Just in case you wanna see. I'm gonna try getting that mod to work. It most likely will but yea... :D

Mass Effect visuals come off very well because the art direction is great. That's more important than the technical detail levels... Also ME1 to ME2 was a noticeable improvement in graphics and attention to detail.

Yep, there was more detail in the faces in ME2. When you are playing missions you just randomly come across great screenshot opportunities where the improved lighting and particle effects combines with a close up of one of your party members. I took a whole bunch of great screenshots which I seem to have lost unfortunately.

ME 3. Omega DLC. 4k Tex Mod's, 4k downsample Gedosato at 1080. In game AA. 4 k is as high as you can go because UI becomes unreadable past 4k as it is too small.
