Facebook friend not showing up?

I just found my biological dad on FB and he accepted my request(he doesnt know who i am i dont go by my real name on FB) and I can see what he posts,shares but I dont sse him on the right side where all my friends are so i cant text him :(. Heeelp I really want to text him to say hi for the first time in my life to him.

Are you sure he has accepted you? He might have then deleted you after.

Private message him? Top left click on the little Mail icon thing and then "Send new message", then it should allow you choose your dad. Good luck :)

Goddamit I think he deleted me because when it says to choose my friend i type his name in but it wont find him. But I started a conversation earlier today and just wrote that I'm  his son right now. Hopefully he still sees that conversation, or is it too deleted?

I think it depends on his Privacy settings - he may see it if he hasn't chosen to not "be able to receive messages from non-friends".

Made a new account where I have a profile pic and my real name. Should convince him
