Ryan,

Have you tried crhome with all extension turned off?  Run memtest on your pc just to make sure, from the screenshot you provided the amout of ram used by the system is no way near 3.5 GB which is roughtly 46% of your 8GB ram.

i was just about to say this. could you take a screen cap of your system info (make sure you blurr out any software keys)

I'd be VERY careful about CCleaner if you're not familiar with it. I used it while trying to fix a guy's computer (it had freaking 18,000 viruses when I ran MBAM) and it deleted all the restore points.

Ryan are you using chrome stable or dev?  Have you tried reinstalling it?  Iast thing I can sugguest is if your can run in clean boot mode.

i'm guessing stable because i don't know how to change that.
