It's meant to be black but on the cheaper boards they use less paint. Because money. The copper shows through a little, creating the brown color. It's not so bad IMO. If it didn't fuck up the soldering process the really cheap ones would've come without any paint (there's a reason it's called solder mask) on them. So we're happy with what we get.

Final update to Project DIRTT:

 

So a little while a go i ran into an issue with my H100, turns out the pump died which was dissapointing to say the least

 

I put the stock heatsink on until i got a replacement AIO.

 

I went with the Cooler Master Seidon 240M, installed it today, and so i can truly say build complete!!

 

The whole system is so quiet its amazing.

 

The whole build process has been drawn out, but i've gone with parts that i like and suit my needs/ cost/performance

 

Im really happy with how it is now, so I close with a couple more pictures of what it looks like now
