Carbon Fibre on the Extreme would be better if you plan on keeping the card for a long time. 3 Fans gives a bit more redundancy than 2 in case something happens to any one fan.

The GTX980 would be a good replacement for my 670s. The 9series is a good jump in performance over the 6series. These Zotac cards only sweeten that deal.

I have never owned a Zotac video card.  All I ever owned were Asus and Evga.  I would like to try one.  Do they stand up aginst Asus and Evga?

I was planning on buying a 970 but they are out of stock everywhere. The chance of finding a good model for a reasonable price seem to be about as big as the chance of winning this competition. At the moment that's 1:11240...

I love the Extreme's styling and lightshow and the performance for power / noise of the 900 series is very impressive to someone like me who is used to using AMD cards.

I like how the 900 series destroyed competition at a lower price point. It's ridiculous that the 980 can almost perform the same as a 780Ti for less money... It's just insane...

These cards kinda scream shut up and take my money, the performance to watt ratio is just insane and I like the Zotac design.

 

Just a thought though, has anyone had any experience with these cards and coil whine? Seen quite a lot of complaints on other 970 manufacturers

As i've seen in your videos 900 series brought us new ways of cooling and new ways of displaying on all types of monitors from 20" 1080p to 29" 4K and i think that is just fabolous. I wouldn't mind changing my out-dated 9800GT. If i get it i might upgrade to a whole new computer.

I built my first game pc and I put a 980 in it and its so freaking amazing that i want a second one but i spend a lot of money on build. I wanne take it slow now so i hope i can win this amazing card ! One SLI bridge and one ZOTAC card and it would be awesome!!!

I love the ID and power delivery of all Zotac cards. These guys know how to do it.

And the fact that nVidia achieved such low heat output at such high performance to allow the creation of cards that run passive in less demanding games is incredible and gives me a nerdgasm.
