I'd have to say out of the two i'd go with the amp 970 the price difference isn't much and it would see that it's not as thick as the omega version along with an extra fan for possibly cooler temps.

Well I see that there are over 400 pages of comments therefore my comment is meaningless due to, shall I say it inflation. But anyway in my humble opinion witch is not so humble I believe zotac cards are good if you run them in NOT SLI config, because that 3 slot cooler just eats up space and leaves you without any space inside the case.

The gtx 970 is already awesome, but a gtx 980? damn! i would love one! The 900 series is amazing, great performance, low power consumption plus its quite cheap for its great performance, especially the gtx 970. It would be freaking awesome if I win one!
