I think I prefer the Omega's metal shroud, and if it is quieter than the Extreme, then that is a plus for me.  And if the power efficiency remains intact from the reference design, then that would also be a big plus.  I think the Extreme looks nice, but I can't see the inside of my case anyways, and I ended up turning off the case LED's so I could sleep while leaving my computer on overnight.
