The GTX 970 has treated me well, I ordered an EVGA ACX model which has been great other than one problem: coil whine. The thing is quite noisy under load. It's not a big problem for me, as I use big cirumaurals, but it is just a bit annoying. The Zotac models seem great though, especially in terms of clock. I've only managed to get 1450 MHz out of my EVGA 970, 1560 MHz is crazy. I think Zotac has always been great as a company though. They may not have the great utilities of MSI, the sexy styling of Asus, or the warranty and support of EVGA, but they make a damn fine graphics card, and that's what counts.

I like ZOTAC AMP! Omega’s metal shroud and AMP! Extreme’s fancy illumination. If I had to choose between these two graphics cards I’d go for the Extreme Edition one, especially if it would be free GTX 980

What I like about the GTX 900 series in general is the new cool features such as Dynamic Super Resolution, Multi-Frame sampled Anti-Aliasing and Voxel Global Illumination.

I absolutely LOVE their new cooler design for these 900 series GPUs.  They'll keep that chip super cool!

 

Would be an upgrade from my aging 650 Ti
