Thoughts on Nexus 6

As an individual who prefers large screens, I am pretty interested with how the Nexus 6 will shape out. However I'm still leaning towards the Note 4 for my next phone.

What are your thoughts on the new Nexus 6 shown today at Google's event?

Personally I think it is kinda big.

Too big. 4,7 inch is the max for me.

Too damn big, but if I needed a media consumption device it would be perfect. I have my eyes set on the Blakberry Classic for now(I've been needing a productivity device for a while now).

I have man hands so while I never considered a nexus phone before this one is certainly getting my attention. I was about to get a note 4 but now I think it would be wise to at least wait till I get my hands on a nexus 6 to see how I feel about it.

Not a fan. If it was closer to the size of the Note 4, I'd probably have gone for it. Or, if it were more affordable, but at the price they've put on it, there's no reason for me to buy one.

I could almost buy a OnePlus One, and a Z3 Compact for the same price.

Fingers crossed for some more compact devices later on this year. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised by the Snapdragon 810 phones.

Kind of doubt it, though. It's a race to see who can make it to 7.5".

Taking into account the cost I'd probably go Note 4. Expandable storage, S Pen, likely a better display.

Probably too expensive.

If it's $650 on the Play store then...well,let's just say a Nexus 5 costs almost $500 here.

If I knew how much RAM it had it could make or break it for me.

It has 3gb of ram and for the life of me I can't understand why it has a 2mp front camera!

It's not on the page but I see on the other sites they are saying 3GBs. Then that makes it for me but at the price point I would rather go for a larger device, put Ubuntu on it and call it /Home/

It's way too big for me really to be useable one handed, which I need the ability to do for when I'm on my bike and need to zip off a quick message etc.

I could however look past the display size if it was cheap, but set over £450 at least for me, there's next to no chance of me getting it, I'd rather get a nexus 5 than this gargantuan waste of money.

Also, the turbo charging sounds nice, but firstly it's likely to cause long term damage to the battery, at least that's possible. and secondly it seems to lack wireless charging, which I find a bit frustrating as the ability to not need to plug in cables makes it so handy to use.

Was waiting for the 6 to be announced, now that it is I am certain I will not be getting it. Way to big for my liking and that price is pretty high. Will just go with my first option which was the nexus 5.Android L supposedly helps with the the battery drain so I'll have to see how that turns out.

looks absolutely amazing, personally I don't like the design over the Nexus 5, but it's is glorious, but I'm very sure that the nexus lost the great price tag... So it's not THAT great.

But still, front facing speakers and 805+QHD screen is a big plus over the LG G3 or Find 7.

Max is 5.5, so this is way to big for me, sadly, but for 5.5 as in phones like the G3 that have tiny bezels, phones like Oppo find 7 or OPO  are just uncomfortable

I wouldn't even consider it for myself. My reasons being that it's too big, android, amoled screen, slow quad core(rather have A7/A8 or k1 dual core). Although, I do want to see the changed android 5 brings and see how it'll close the gap with ios- android becoming more closed, adapting an ios 7 theme, whereas ios becoming more open, allowing more customization.
