I'm sorry, but the tumor on the top ruins it for me. And that is coming from a Windforce X3 user. It at least is a small band of metal.

I'd rather have 3 DVI, 1 HDMI, and 2 VGA.

yes, the "tumor" is rather disappointing and I never understand why they add those...  I'm glad that unlike Windoforce, this one appears to actually have a use (even if it doesn't) though seeing as there are no visible heatpipes I would guess there are those hiding within hence the extreme cooling.  Though rather odd for them to be hidden.

VGA is still good but a Strength of Display port is that it can support VGA through adapters...  same with DVI-D? but the Rear IO is perfect in this aspect as it can support 4 VGA monitors via adapters.  This allows for vent holes to get heat out (though not much)

Well better than old Zotac cards,  but still not that great.

The hump actually is hiding part of the pcb that has extra vrm components or memory... it's hard to tell from pics.   If the heat sink didn't extend beyond the pcb in the back I would say it was Zotac trying not to make it a mile long but that doesn't seem to be the case?  Sapphire used a hump on there vapor x 290x but that was for heat pipes to contact the pcb to cool it.  As far as humps go it's not bad I saw one recently that was some pointless extra heatsink with a micro winer fan and the worst part was it got in the war of the SLI connectors so say good by to a rigid SLI connector.

Over all I kind of like the looks; the colors are all neutral so it fits most color schemes.  I think two of those fans look like my Akasa Apache blacks:

Except the Apache Helicopter. An Apache Helicopter has guns AND missiles.

All that aside. Bigger boost clocks on the Zotac. much better VRM. Even though most will end up going for the Gigabyte card.

I went for the G1 for 1 reason gigabyte came out first and I think the hump might get in the way of my N200 side panel

The ACX 1.0 was the one that had an added heat pipe which caused there to be one that was not directly on the graphics processor, with the acx 2.0 that has been fixed.

I like the clean look of it.

The acx 2.0 cooler was released around a week or so ago, the news of a "shifty cooler" was before it was out.
