CPU Cooler for new build

Mully
I've narrowed it down to these 4 coolers: CM 212 Evo - £24 Noctua NH - D14 - £58 Zalman LQ 310 - £67 Corsair H100i - £90 I also like the look of the Swiftech H220' date=' but it's not available until mid-late February and I would like to see some benchmarks and reviews before I invest in one. What do you think?[/quote'] The H100 has a horrible price : performance ratio, you can get near enough the same performance if not better with the Noctua NH-D14 or Phanteks PH-TC14PE. If you're only going for a mild overclock the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO will be more than enough, it's a great cooler for a little price tag.

Thanks for the response. It's just what I needed to know.

I'm going to be ordering the D14 in the next hour or so.

Any objections ?

:P

Edit: Is it compatible with LGA 1155 out of the box?

I bought the Noctua NH-U12P SE2 , replaced the 2 fans that came with it for a single NF-F12pwm brilliant cooler and smaller than the D-14

I'm gonna use the stock cooler for now.

I'm still waiting to see how the Corsair H110, Kraken x60 and Swiftech H220 turn out before I make any changes.

Coolermaster 212+ evo; it has a black fan and an average looking heatsink. My i5 3570 runs at 35c~ at idle with fans on lowest rpm and 50c~ in load with fans on lowest rpm with cm212+evo.

Good Morning...
