The NFL has struck a new deal with Bose and will no longer allow players to wear the incredibly popular headphones during interviews.  Fines will be issued if this rule is breached.

Hey, Apple decided to kill the brand once it bought it. There's a page on LTT about it.

I thought they were killing the Software side of things like deals with HTC/HP and everyone else... but no kill the headphones brand themself.

Other way around. They're killing the headphones but keeping the intelligent stream software and integrating it with iTunes radio.

It does really make you wonder how much and what kind of back scratching was going on in order to, I would assume,  influence the more impressionable peoples purchases.

What did they specifically say no Beats? Can they just wear Sennheiser instead?

BTW I read the article from the source. It's complete and utter shit.

Where did you find this?

So true. I wasn't sure I'd hear that coming from you but...there's a large perception that Beats are the quintessential "black person" headphone.

Frankly I think all of this shit is weird. Let the players wear what they choose. They're doing enough for us bastards already, nearly killing each other over a pigskin ball for our enjoyment.

Oh well to me that seems a little bit of a strange move by apple... They could have acutally improved the headphones because they already have the marketing on everyone else.

But interesting to see how beats changes the apple eco system a bit :)

No you're the one who you it confused. The rumor is that Apple will get rid of Beats Music (possibly adding it to iTunes). Beats Music is a music streaming service, not the headphones part of beats.

Why would they get rid of one of the most popular headphone brands? It makes no sense.
