4ghz overclock club

Nice, dont you think that the voltage is a bit to high?

My 955 was running at 1.35 and at 1.4 I would blue screen after 4 hrs of prime95 so I bumped it to 1.45, I'm only running on a hyper212 but it seems to do the job keeping my max to 58 under prime95 and I max around 50 when playing crysis 3

Overclocked and undervolted.

I wanted to reduce power consumption and heat and get a little more kick out of it as well. The PC barely makes a sound.

It is a little hot at idle but it's never gone above 76C even in 24 hour stress tests. I've considered re-applying the thermal paste, but it's never been much of an issue.

Please quote me if you want me to see your post about my post, otherwise I may lose track of the thread and never see it.

I'd love to help, but I'm probably gonna' have to ask for more info before we can get anything done.

Have a wonderful day.

I'd like to get my CPU up to 4 GHz but from what I've read it's not very stable. I have had it running at 4 GHz before but it needs more then 1.5V. My current OC of 3.8 GHz is sitting around 1.45V. For cooling, I've got the Cooler Master HyperN520

Any tips would be appreciated.

It's just a minor overclock but im happy with the temps seeing as it's aircooled and i don't really have the patience to fine tune and overclock more so i'm going to just keep it at this :D

Is it weird I have not overclocked my 3930K yet? Waiting to switch coolers before starting is my excuse.
