Most overclockers find it difficult to overclock their CPUs based on their experience and skill-set on Computing and hardware knowledge. It does not really matter between either AMD or Intel. As long as you know what your doing to overclock your CPU, the overclocking process should be a breeze.

Very nice work to those who archived their overclocks. I only wish I could push my CPU past 4.4GHz. I haven't overclocked my CPU manually (without the CPU Boost in BIOS) for 2 years. If I post my specs, anyone reckon they could give me some frequencies and voltages to try out to get to around 4.5GHz - 4.8GHz? Help will be much appreciated!

Specs:

Motherboard: ASUS Crosshair IV Formula (AM3)

CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T BE (3.02GHz stock clock)

RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR3

RAM TECH SPECS:

Speed Rating: PC3-16000 (2000MHz)
SPD Speed: 1333MHz
Tested Speed: 2000Mhz
Tested Latency: 10-10-10-27
