I don't have a DSLR laying around. And Nexus 4 phones take crappy photos.

I know it's not much for now but at least it's started. I live and work on my own so buying part will take between 2 and 4 months, depending on the outcomes and the incomes.

I will try to make it look as sharp as it can get, sleeving cable, cable managing, some color change, LED lightning, probably make a PC Stand so people can look at it, etc..

So yeah pretty boring for now, but i think it will become very interesting in the next few weeks or months !  :)

There is a deal on the XFX Double Dissipation 280x for 190. Save ten dollars, and much better performance.

Anddd You are already building it. :/

  • 3 months later...

Hi,

I installed my 2 UV led strip, my 24 pin UV reactive cable and covered the H110 original tubing with UV reactive blue one.

Love the effect, but my roomate's iPhone (My N4 aswell) went ape shit when it saw UV lightning. Looks more purple'ish IRL. I like it way more than the orange theme I had before. I might add some more UV reactive accent in the future but for now my PC sit like this :

Lights on :

Lights off (the second photo is more realistic although it look WAY better IRL, wish I had a DSLR) :

Ah yeah and last week I tried myself at overclocking, my 4690k now runs 4.0 Ghz  :) I'll push it to 4.2 when I have the time.

I know my build isn't very impressive when you look within the build section a bit but I love my little PC  :D
