since when was it a good idea to launch a game from your web browser? It should never have been like that.

unfortunately it still suffers the "died 2 feet behind a wall" problem.

you know, i remember the refracter engine never having these issues. actually, alot of the fun of BF2/2142 like C4 jumping has been taken out, kinda miss doin' that.

by no means to i consider this game fixed at all. there are still many issues to be resolved. the "balancing" was really unnecessary. and i still get frequent kill trades even if i get the jump on them

please for the love of god don't quote the op on this one.

For $20, yes.

your right, no game is perfect. however, i find this is almost to little to late. theres one DLC left. i would rather they finish the DLC and stop trying at this point and focus on making battlefront worthwhile because if they have another launch like they did with BF4 then as far as i am concerned, DICE can close shop and walk away

The guys working on bf4 at the moment are not the developers of battlefront. They are DICE La a completely different studio. Also keep in mind that any improvements that get made in CTE by DICE LA will be carried over into hardline and battlefront. They are improvements to not just the game but the frostbite engine.

Well, guess I should wait then. Just gonna buy H1Z1 and play it before microtransactions are inserted into the game and SOE kills it. It's gonna be fun until then :)

Compared to massively broken games that never get fixed...

Beats nothing right...

After this update ive seen more problems I feel like. Im not sure if I am the only one having this problem but if their are others please let me know. It now takes me longer to load into a game and when taking damage I get weird lag (like my movement speed and frames I see are lower). Also when I die in a hardcore match I can sometimes see maybe 1 or 2 frames of the person who killed me in first person view.

No idea why you people say it is only playable now.

Was playable many months ago as well. Only on release and 1 month I think? It was unplayable.

I wouldn't call it too late, since there are people that will skip Hardline and will stick to BF4. I know I will.

Does anyone know if they fixed the ridiculous rubber banding issue that made the game next to impossible to play? I didn't see it in the notes but I may have missed it there is a lot there :S

Anytime I got rubber banding it was due to me being on wireless. The day I ran some cat5e to my pc was the day it completely stopped.
