BUILDING MY OWN GAMING POD : UPDATE HELP NEEDED

so i am making a full size gaming pod for my GCSE product design course , the purpose of it is to sit in a game (pretty self explanatory) but i need your guys help to decide which one i should make

Design 1

this first design is a fully enclosed pod and will have a seat at the back end with a tv mounted at the front , it will have draws to put games and storage for gaming accessories and maybe build in surround sound but not too sure yet:) also it will have the doors on the side to get in and out that will be on a Lamborghini style door hinge that you lift up and step into.

Design 2

this design is more open and isnt stricly speaking a pod but more of a cool chair (i guess) this one allows for 3 monitors to be used and i will add surround sound and storage undneath it and the curve bit will be were you sit and that will all be padded with soft material , plus i will add armrests on the side where you can place stuff inside the armrest such as a drink stand and that:) this one includes CAD drawings so you can see bit better what it would sort of look like at the end. And in the picture where you can see all the beams at the top this is just to show how i made it and will not be present in the final product

Both of these designs are still prototypes but i need your guys help to chose which one i should take forward and build in full scale
please feel free to make any suggestion on how i could improve them and you would be helping me loads thanks

Hi guys don't want to come across as pushy , however i am now writing up the feedback section of my project and actually starting to manufacture the product (starting this week) and would be really helpful if you could comment on what improvements you would make , and what you would like to see incorporated into the product ( cup holder, Lights , Surround sound etc..) thanks

ok :) you are one of the first people to say design 1 majority of people ive asked have said design 2 :) thanks for your input

 these are only prototype shapes , so the main body of the pod meaning i will add the rest to when i actually make the proper one :)

ok i will take that on board and the aim is for it to be mainly in a seating position anyway and not lying down , but it will also have the feature to lye down aswell :)

Opinion
design 2  - seating positon
               - put a baby chair table for mouse or keyboard
               - speaker 5.1 x2 behind the screen x2 beside the seat's headrest
               - CPU downside seat

is this for design two ?? if so i will manufacture a sort of table top thing that can just clip on or something :) but i will design many different ones and pick the best option
