Not really in-progress, the only part I have is the HDD. :)

HD 7850 = R7 265

HD 7870 = R7 270/270X

The 270 is a rebranded 7870, Not 7850.

The 270 is the same card as the 7870, Not 7850.

Ah, didn't see that on Wikipedia, thanks for pointing that out.

And I see you too are having problems with AMD's new naming scheme, it's the R9 270/270X :). Heck, even Linus messed up.

These were actually the most difficult cards for me, I knew that they were GCN 1.0 but I couldn't find a match in the 7000s or 8000s because the actual code name was changed.

Can you add the comparisons for lower-end cards as well?

These are all the cards. All others in the R7 200 series are new cards.

The R7 260X is a 7790, just with TrueAudio enabled. The chips themselves are the same.

Really? I lived my whole life thinking that they were new cards. Let me fix that....

Yep. The 7790 has TrueAudio hardware in it, it's just disabled by software. There have been people that were able to flash their 7790 into a 260X, enabling TrueAudio.

Ok, I fixed it now. Would you have a look at the OP and see if I got everything right?

Yep, but shouldn't 7790 be 2nd on the list, between 7770 and 7850? :P
